Alone In Kyoto is a track from the Air album, Talkie Walkie, released in 2004. It featured in the film Lost in Translation, and has undoubtedly also served as background music for countless TV ads and programmes since then.My name is Lisa. I created this blog in order to document my year in Kyoto, Japan, studying at Ritsumeikan University as part of my Japanese degree. I'm back now, and sporadically update this when I see something funny and actually remember to post it. Any suggestions or ideas, please send on a seeded bun to the usual address, but not by carrier pigeon this time lest it get stolen and eaten.

Hey, Hope you have a good journey and get settled in Japan. From my experience the first couple of weeks after your arrival are pretty hectic. I'm sure you'll make friends really easily. :) And if you ever want to put up a couple of tourists from Australia, let me know :P Have a really great time!
