The Artist at the Bus Stop

I had a very interesting day today, for which I am currently creating another photo-heavy entry. But, maybe the best part was when I caught my bus back, at the end of the day. I waited at the usual crowded bus stop, situated outside some tall company buildings, and checked the timetable, which informed me that my bus would be another 15 minutes. It was dark by this point, so I just stood with the crowd, not really paying attention, lost in my own thoughts and reflections on the day. My bus eventually arrived, and just as I was stepping on, something was thrust into my hands from behind me. I took it without thinking, and as the doors shut behind me I realised that it was a sketch, of me. I turned around, and as the bus drew away I got a very brief glimpse of the artist, an elderly man, wearing a hat and a surgical mask which obscured most of his face. (It is very common here for people to wear surgical masks in public when they are unwell). I never got the chance to thank him.
